How Does Homeopathy Work?

I was introduced to homeopathic remedies by a primary care physician (MD)  who also had a strong interest and expertise in homeopathic medicine. Our first test of homeopathic treatment was with my depression. I was going through a divorce and was very upset and depressed. The homeopathic doctor gave me some ignatia  homeopathic remedy to put under my tongue. Then, when I was on the bus riding home from the doctors office, I began to cry uncontrollably. I remember calling my homeopathy physician up to tell him what had happened, and he said that meant the benefits of homeopathy were working.

You see,  the concept behind homeopathic practice  is similar to that of a vaccination… You take some of what ails you to create the same effect which will in turn make you feel better. IE… what should be the outcome of my homeopathic therapy? I needed to have a good cry.

Ok, that may sound a bit simplistic, so lets take my second example of advantages of homeopathy. During my process of dealing with the divorce, the homeopathic practitioner gave me some homeopathic medicine that created a strong sense of anger. Prior to this particular homeopathic treatment, I was just sad, not angry as I should have been. After I had experienced plenty of anger, the doctor administered some sort of homeopathic antidote.

The third example I’ll give about the advantages of homeopathy,  was with my endometriosis and painful periods, and the effect of an homeopathic remedy.  I don’t remember the homeopathic product’s name, but sure enough, after a lifetime of painful periods, the homeopath cured my pain.
